Things haven’t actually been quiet, but I’ve had a tough time getting my butt in gear to do any blog posts. I got a bit overwhelmed with projects and volunteer opportunities, so I sort of shut down while my brain incorporated all the new things and took a break from blogging and creative ventures.
However, the plan is to get back into the groove over the next few days. I’ve been asked to participate in a blog tour for a book release. I’ll be hosting a contest on this blog, so my fellow book lovers…stay tuned! I think it’s going to be a fun one.
I also received the GoVoxBox from Influenster, and I’m looking forward to reviewing the items in there for your reading and picture viewing pleasure. Since we’ve been packing and traveling, I haven’t had a chance to really dive into the items, but that’s on the to-do list for the rest of this week and weekend.
I’m also playing with the idea of starting a new blog dedicated to exploring Kansas. I haven’t worked out the details yet, and I’d still keep this one for the grindy stuff, but I like the idea of doing news and reviews for places Jon and I visit in this lovely state. And I say that with no sarcasm. The longer I’m in Kansas, the more I appreciate just how beautiful it is.
