I think most people can agree that spam is annoying and pointless. Usually.
I mean, maybe there are people out there who’ve met the love of their life through a spam email or who are now sporting a much larger package due to the technique/drugs/therapy that they bought as a result of clicking through a spam link.
Spam comments I’ve received on some of these blog posts have actually provided me with some entertainment. Most of the time, the comment makes absolutely no sense, and the nonsense is kind of funny.
Last night I was reading one to MC Felbsalot, and he said that it sounded like a poem. Then I thought about how people assume that some poetry has a hidden spiritual or psychological meaning. Is the universe trying to tell me something with these comments?
The first one comes from…and I’m not even joking here, this was the name of the spammer…Justin Bieber. I’ve put it into poem form for you here:
Undeniably imagine that that you said.
Your favorite justification seemed to be at the web
the easiest factor to bear in mind of.
I say to you,
I definitely get annoyed even as people consider worries that they just don’t realize about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top
As well as outlined out the whole thing with no need side-effects
Other folks could take a signal.
Will probably be back to get more. Thank you.
Lyrical, right? Probably profound. I feel it really delves into human nature and how people are so quick to speak before they think. I think it’s an insightful commentary of how the internet has opened up so many lines of communication, and how now, those who may have felt they had no voice can speak up and be heard.
Or not.
The second spam comment might not even be spam. It might be someone who is highly encouraging. Or who loves me.
You could definitely see your skills within the paintings you write. The arena hopes for more passionate writers like you who aren’t afraid to say how they believe. Always go after your heart.
But since I don’t write paintings, and this comment was made on my movie review (not the epitome of art), I’m pretty sure this is just some random spam that just happened to sound flowery.
I’m glad WP filters the spam comments, but if I’m going to get some anyway, I’m going to make the most of them and use them to entertain myself.
