When I woke up this morning, it was really tempting to just not do anything all day. My legs were sore and my calves felt like they were on the verge of cramping. I really need to start stretching. I took some ibuprofen and slept for another hour or so and felt much better. Jon was hurting too, but we decided getting out and doing something was better than just sitting around all day. Plus, we had to come to town to kick off our week of pet sitting.
We grabbed lunch at Subway. It was kind of disappointing, but I think that’s just me not knowing exactly what I wanted. Geocaching was much better today than it was on Saturday. We headed out and found four different caches in four different cemeteries. One we found was particularly eerie for a couple reasons.

The cache itself would have been really cool had it not been for the fact that it had become an anthill. Please note that it wasn’t a real skull, just a plastic one, but the way the ants swarmed out of the eye was pretty scary.
We had fun and found our goal number for the day. We tried one more time to find the one at the boat ramp but it still wasn’t happening. I think we’re going to have to wait until winter.
We made a pit stop at the house then came to town and set up shop at our temporary residence. We hung out and watched TV for a bit, then made it to the gym and to pick up dinner. That marks week 2 of hitting our fitness goals, though we did take a few liberties this time. While we didn’t actually do our originally started C25K program, we did get our three days of walking between the night we did the Zombies Run app and all the walking we did at Legends. I’m counting that. Normally we’d take our rest day tomorrow, but we’re going away over the weekend, so we’re saving it up since we’re not sure if we’ll be able to get a workout those days.
It’s back to work tomorrow. This weekend went by way too fast, but it was fun. No regrets!
